Name Change Contest, we're starting 2008 with a Sweepstakes ... with a real Grand Prize ... PYNL's Emerging Leaders Board Training Program is getting a facelift!! One problem with the name "Emerging Leaders Board Training Program" is that the acronym ELBTP is almost as hard to remember as the whole name. The program needs something shorter and snappier, like PYNL (but that's taken).
First one to produce the name we like best wins $25 gift card to Reading Terminal Market. The subject line must read "NEW NAME." Please email your suggestion(s) to Mitch @ mmalten@gmail.com, by Friday, February 15.

A Big Thank You! To everyone who attended and donated to the 6th Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit Project HOME and the Community Education Alliance of West Philadelphia. The event, held at Fado Irish Pub at 15th & Locust Streets, was a complete success with over 50 people attending throughout the night and about 15 (very large) bags of toys being collected!
Our toy drive event has been growing year by year and attended by members and non-members of PYNL – the event is open to anyone looking to spread a little holiday cheer. We look forward to an even bigger crowd in December of '08 as we help to bring some holiday joy to children and families in need. Again, PYNL wants to thank everyone who joined us, everyone who sent in their toy donations and give a special thanks to the great people at Fado for donating the toys to us again this year – Kudos! We also like to give another special thank you to Jennifer West (PYNL and member) and her friends, who for the a few years, have gathered at each other's homes to celebrate the holidays by collecting unwrapped toys with them to donate to PYNL – Way to go!
If you are interested in joining the Activities and Outreach Committee please contact Activities and Outreach Committee Chair Naomi Leapheart at naomi@matchstick.org.
