PYNL's 8th Annual Holiday Happy Hour and Toy Drive

  • Location: Fado Irish Pub - 15th & Locust
  • Cost: New, unwrapped toy

'Tis the event of the season and here's the reason...PYNL invites you to join us at our 8th Annual Holiday Happy Hour and Toy Drive. Snow or shine, come and join the festivities and please bring a new, unwrapped toy with you! See PEC's wish list for ideas.

Toys that are collected will be donated to the People's Emergency Center - nurturing families, strengthens neighborhoods, driving change and helping to make a brighter holiday season for the children and families.

Drink specials will be available and the pub has a full appetizer and dinner menu available.

You can help in other ways too and make our toy drive an even bigger success! Consider doing a toy drive in your office or with your family and friends and get involved and download a copy of the toy drive flyer and post it up at work, or in your neighborhood. For more information contact Steven Fynes at stevenfynes@pccy.org or call 215-563-5848 x 11. Please join us for an evening of networking and fun and a chance to bring a happier holiday to a child in this season of giving.

Turning Point Prize
$15,000 Prize
Women for Social Innovation and WOMEN'S WAY

Women for Social Innovation (WSI) is a giving circle that donates to and advises a donor advised fund of WOMEN'S WAY. Its mission is to provide philanthropic investments to emerging social innovators whose ideas hold promise to improve life for women, girls, and families in the Greater Philadelphia area.

The Turning Point Prize is seed money given annually to an emerging "social innovator" - a person between the ages of 18 and 35 who develops a creative and entrepreneurial solution to a difficult problem affecting a segment of women, girls, and families. Each applicant's idea will be judged on the definition of the problem, the project goals and impact, innovativeness of the idea, feasibility of the project plan, the vision of success, and entrepreneurial spirit.
